May 12, 2008 - There's no doubt that Lil Wayne is one of the shining stars to emerge from the Cash Money Millionaires crew who have seemed to dominate Southern based rap for the past decade-and-some-change.

Wayne first emerged on the scene as a member of The Hot Boys along with Juvenile, Turk, and B.G., but has since has managed to parlay a successful solo career with a string of albums, notable guest appearances, and an unbridled sense of bravado.

On June 10th, 2008, Wayne will drop Tha Carter III, his latest studio effort.

To set up the album we've snagged an installment of a Webisode entitled Countdown To Tha Carter 3 in which a number of folks recount why Lil Wayne has managed to leave a memorable imprint on rap music in such a short span of time.
